U-Line Ice Maker: Dead Touch Panel and a Discontinued Board
A U-Line ice maker had a dead touch panel and no compressor power, but its board was discontinued. The case preserves connector and board-repair …

U-Line 80-54372-00 Ice Maker Cross-Brand Identification
A field report links U-Line 80-54372-00 with several premium ice-machine brands. Verify model, serial and official fit before ordering.

Sub-Zero Standalone Ice Machine Dead After Two Boards
A Sub-Zero ice machine stayed inactive after main and UI boards. The field case returns diagnosis to thermostat, switches and sequence.

Sub-Zero 427S: Partial Evaporator Frost and Solenoid Testing
Both evaporators of a Sub-Zero 427S frosted only halfway. The case explains why fans-on testing and solenoid opening precede a restriction diagnosis.

Modular Ice Machine Makes Thick Ice in the First Grid Channels
A modular ice machine made thick ice in its first channels after pump and valve replacement. Small distribution tubes became the next unconfirmed branch.

Marvel MIM50P Freezes Ice but Will Not Drop It Into the Bin
A Marvel MIM50P kept building ice on the evaporator. The bin sensor did not initiate release; timed control and the hot-gas valve remained untested.

Ice-O-Matic GEMU090 Drain Pump Runs Constantly, Panel Dead
An Ice-O-Matic GEMU090 ran its drain pump constantly with a dead panel and reservoir leak. See the level-tube and valve diagnostic branches.

Hoshizaki KMD-530MAH Compressor No-Start With Burned Relay Wire
A Hoshizaki KMD-530MAH compressor would not start and a wire between relays was burned. The relay contact and start circuit require diagnosis.

Commercial Ice Machine Makes Ice Too Thin to Harvest
A commercial ice machine made ice too thin to harvest. A model-specific reset led to two normal cycles, without a later durability update.

Commercial Ice Machine Found in Clean Mode
A commercial ice machine restarted after being found in clean mode, but repeated freeze and harvest cycles were not verified.

Viking Wine Cooler at 38-40°F With a Snow Cap in One Corner
A Viking wine cooler stayed at 38-40°F with snow in one evaporator corner. The case favors leak diagnosis over sensors, board or immediate compressor …
What changes the diagnostic path
Record whether the complaint is no production, low production, thin or malformed ice, storage melt, water leakage or temperature drift. Water quality, ambient conditions, cleaning history and exact model can materially change the interpretation.
The same symptom can have a different cause. A maintenance condition, water problem, refrigeration fault and control failure should not be collapsed into one parts recommendation.
Information worth preserving
- Full model, installation type and operating environment.
- Ice shape, thickness, harvest behavior and production over time.
- Water supply, filter and documented cleaning history.
- Cabinet or storage temperature where relevant.
- Displayed code, prior parts and any discontinued-component constraint.
Safety: electrical, pump, gas-charge and sealed-system work is not a homeowner procedure. Commercial equipment may also carry sanitation and local-code obligations.

A Whirlpool ran its drain forever, flashed the lock lamp and showed F03/E01 after a level-sensor connection changed. The signal path came first.
Maytag MVW7230HW0 Quick Wash Stuck at 17 Minutes
A Maytag MVW7230HW0 kept operating while Quick Wash remained at 17 minutes. The case separates a stalled countdown from a simple no-spin fault.
Maytag F1E2 After Drain Worked and Programs Stopped
A Maytag drained correctly, then programs stopped after pause and F1E2 appeared. The case separates standing-water door lock from motor control.
