The Spark Module Was Missing from the Diagram, Not Necessarily from the Cooktop
After correcting the burner count to four, the field discussion proposed U-67204-7, also referenced as PA020047, for model VGRT4824QSS. Installation was not reported.
Why the burner count changed the answer
The original question mistakenly described more burners. Once corrected to four, the configuration matched a single common spark module rather than multiple modules.
A similar symptom can have a different cause on another cooktop. Viking models can use different modules, igniter styles and production-date revisions.
What was identified and what was not
Technicians proposed U-67204-7 and PA020047 as a cross-reference for the four-output module. It also noted that two igniter styles exist, making photographs and the exact model important. No installed part or successful ignition test was reported.
Use the identification as a parts check
The part number is useful evidence for this configuration, not permission to order it for every Viking cooktop. Burner count, connector layout, module label, igniter construction and model serial break must agree.
