The Igniter Glowed, but No Supply Reached the New Gas Valve
On LG DLG1502W, replacing the gas-valve assembly and igniter did not restore heat. Fuses were reported good.
What the failed replacements established
The new valve could not open without a control supply. Because no supply was measured at the valve, another valve replacement would not explain the missing command. The igniter glowing showed that the ignition sequence had begun but not why it stopped before gas flow.
A similar symptom can have a different cause on another gas dryer. Gas availability, flame sensing, wiring, interlocks and the control board all remain possible.
Why full assembly became part of the test condition
A technician described a related LG repair in which the apparent valve fault remained while the dryer was tested partly open. After the top was aligned and latched completely, the dryer worked; the technician reported three to four years of later operation.
That result supports reproducing the fault with the DLG1502W fully assembled before condemning its board. The source thread did not report that comparison.
What remained after the service-condition check
If the cabinet is correctly assembled and the valve command remains absent, the flame-sensor input, harness and board output still require model-specific testing. No final result was posted for this dryer.
